I picture a series of underground tunnels
and if I get lost, I can usually find my way through
but I do trip on holes in the floor on the way
small enough that I don't fall through, 
though big enough that you don't wanna walk around
down there with the lights off.
Have you ever witnessed a power outage?
they come unexpectedly, and I don't know 
if you could handle this dark.
I was down there one time with the lights off
and almost fell right through the cracks
what if that happens to you?
I don't know for how long you'd fall
or if it'd hurt to hit the bottom
if there even is a bottom,
what you'd find.
There are parts of me 
not yet explored 
and I have no idea
what you'll see,
for the depths of my soul,
I do not know.
I'm really scared to let you in
but maybe you can hold my hand
and we'll go down together.
I have faith 
that there's nothing but good inside.
I'm almost ready to find out.
