1/19/20. If I’m an ocean, my waves don’t crash and dissipate along the shore until they’ve had some time to freeze and linger first, moments not washing over smoothly when they hit too hard. In this ocean, hurricanes form and fade away before they touch the land, so no one knows that they occurred, but that is far from the truth, and when my waters are not still, I write so that others can feel my hurricanes too.
