So sad

to think that you’re not enough exactly as you are, and when we write for others we must not struggle to feel that we are. The desire to be heard, to be known, is real, but if we lose ourselves in the process of expressing for others, obsessing about their reactions to what we have put out into the world, then what have we done for ourselves? To seek validation from the outside world is to forget that we are more than enough as we are. Let us know our worth before we share parts of ourselves outwardly, and then we can share from a most selfless place as our worth will remain from within. 3/5/20.
