1/7/20. Hi, friend. No one knows what comes next. I feel scared sometimes. Words hold my hand as I write them. I hope you find a hand to hold. We need hands. People catch us when we fall. People hear us when we speak. People hug us when we cry. They are there for us. I promise. You just have to open up the door. Let them inside. The fear of getting hurt inside is real, I know, but the box in which you keep yourself so safe will miss out. The moments that makes us feel most alive are exploding with risk. LIFE is a risk! A baby is born, and the whole world watches. Now what, baby? Where will you go? Who will you be? You’re an explosion of beauty through every second of it all. Moment by moment, be who it feels right to be. Let fear go. Steps of confidence wait for your feet to follow. If you feel stuck, listen. There are answers to hear when you least expect. You know more than you think you do, too. Scared will always go away. Someone or something will come to hold your hand, help you remember who you are. In the meantime, I bet these words can.
Always, Sophie
