I don’t know how you knew that you were needed, but you did know because you were born and people ran to you. I don’t know how you make everything better in an instant, but every moment you start speaking is a good one. You merge instruments and voices in a way that holds my hand and takes me to great places under covers and moves trees in harmony and livens city lights at night in a moving car. Thank you for the hugs and the help and the safe havens you provide. Thank you for bringing me to others and bringing others to me. Thank you for making me feel alive and understood. Thank you for being here.
